Pandemic Experiences of Lethbridge Newcomers and Cultural Groups

Wednesday, May 11, 2022 (all day)

Join us May 11th to learn about the lived experiences of Lethbridge newcomers and diverse cultural groups during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a dramatic impact on individuals and families across the country. This is particularly the case for newcomers, temporary foreign workers and diverse cultural groups. Individuals from these groups often struggle to navigate health and other systems. The COVID-19 pandemic created even more barriers to those systems.
In this webinar, an overview will be provided of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Lethbridge context. Speakers from a variety of groups will share their experiences and perspectives from their communities. The impact of the pandemic on settlement processes for refugees and newcomers will also be discussed.
Register via Eventbrite-the zoom link will be sent out after registration closes on May 8th.
