Community Partnership Council

The Lethbridge Community Partnership Council (CPC) is directly involved in the creation of and implementation of both an annual action plan and an overall strategic plan with the overarching goal of identifying and making Lethbridge a welcoming and inclusive community.

The mission of the CPC is to facilitate the improvement of local capacity to foster inclusion and be a welcoming community.

The CPC works collaboratively with existing expertise and resources in the community to:

• improve coordination of existing services;
• facilitate public education and awareness;
• provide a coordinated response to meet needs and to engage newcomers;
• to enable successful integration of newcomers.

The expressed outcome being that Lethbridge is an increasingly more welcoming and inclusive community.

The partnership council is to meet regularly to develop a coordinated, comprehensive and strategic approach to immigration and integration that fits the needs of the community it represents.
