Lethbridge Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) is a community development initiative which officially began in June 2016. Our goal is to identify and reduce barriers facing newcomers and ensuring that we are providing a welcoming and inclusive community for all who call Lethbridge home.
The Welcoming and Inclusive Communities (WIC) initiative is a partnership between the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) and the Government of Alberta to support municipalities to implement policies and practices to help overcome issues of racism and discrimination.
