Food and Shopping

Downtown Lethbridge is home to many department stores and shops as well as a variety of restaurants.

Park Place mall is home to major retail outlets and the Cineplex Galaxy movie theatre. The Movie Mill theatre is located on South Mayor Magrath Drive. Other indoor malls include Lethbridge Centre downtown and Centre Village Mall on 2nd Street North.

A large group of major department stores, such as Costco, Wal-Mart, Superstore, Home Depot, plus electronics stores, restaurants and more are located at the south end of Mayor Magrath Drive. You will also find another Wal-Mart and shopping centre on 26th Avenue North.

Most food stores in Lethbridge have foods from many different countries, especially Superstore, Walmart, Save-On Foods and The Real Canadian Wholesale Club. The Asian Supermarket on 13th Street and 6 Avenue North sells all sorts of foods from many different cultures and countries.

Lethbridge has several stores that sell used clothing and household items for much less than you would pay to buy them new. The Salvation Army Thrift Store, Value Village and three Catholic Charities Clothing Banks are located throughout the city.
