Programs for Children and Youth

Children’s Services offers a range of supports and resources for children, youth and families.

If your child needs a place to stay after school, It's a Blast can help by offering after-school and before-school programs. There is a cost for services.

The Boys and Girls Club provides programming for children of all age including kindergarten, before and after school programs for children ages 5-11 years old and a free drop-in program for teens. There is a cost for some service. For after school care, children can be picked up from the following schools: Senator Buchanan, Westminster, Galbraith, St. Paul, St. Mary's and Lethbridge Christian School. Northside 403-327-6423. The Lethbridge YMCA  a number of regular programs for children and teens throughout the year, including summer programs for kids when school is out.

Various programs available aimed at supporting girls and women with social issues, increasing awareness, empowerment, building self-esteem, life skills training and development, mentorship and friendship opportunities. Neighbourhood Play Program offers free summer programming to youth ages 6-12 in various Lethbridge schools and playgrounds.

The Recreation & Culture Guide is a monthly publication that promotes activities, programs and services for the citizens of Lethbridge.
